This page explains how we assess and score casino operators on BonusCourt UK. Our goal is to produce consistent, useful comparisons that help visitors make informed decisions — not to promote any particular operator.
Who writes the reviews
Reviews are written by the BonusCourt UK editorial team. We are not affiliated with the operators we review. Our reviews represent our own editorial assessment based on direct inspection of each operator's site, terms, and interface.
We do not fabricate customer reviews or testimonials. We do not use data from unverified third-party sources as the basis for claims about an operator's service.
Selection criteria
We only consider operators that hold a current UK Gambling Commission licence at the time of review. Operators without a UKGC licence are not included. Scoring criteria
We assess each operator against six criteria and combine the results into a single editorial score out of 10. The criteria and their approximate weightings are:
We look at whether promotional terms are clearly displayed and easy to find before a user registers. Operators that bury or obscure wagering requirements score lower on this criterion.
We assess how easy the site is to navigate, how clear the registration process is, and whether account functions such as deposits, withdrawals, and limits are straightforward to use.
We note the range of deposit and withdrawal methods available, with particular attention to UK-relevant options such as debit cards and PayPal. We also consider stated withdrawal processing times.
We note the breadth of game categories offered — slots, live casino, table games, and other formats. We do not assess individual game quality or specific software providers in detail.
We test whether the site functions well on mobile browsers and, where available, whether a dedicated app is maintained to a reasonable standard.
We assess whether responsible gambling tools — deposit limits, session limits, self-exclusion, and GAMSTOP integration — are easy to find and use. We give significant weight to this criterion.
Score interpretation
Scores are presented on a scale of 0–10. They represent our editorial assessment and should not be taken as an official rating, a regulatory endorsement, or a guarantee of any outcome.
